Trunk or Treat

Yesterday we went to Trunk or Treat at Covenant. It was a really good time. My father heard about it when he went to church with the boys while Chris and I were in Vegas, so we had already decided to go. Then, we met Sharon, Phil and their kids from the local Homeschool group. We have had so much fun this last week. I think it is illegal. Anyway, Sharon and Phil were meeting some other friends from the church prior to the Trunk or Treat to tailgate, so they invited us. So, we became a car in the trunk or treat. It was loads of fun and we met a bunch more people and even a couple more homeschoolers.

Olivia had a great time playing in her playpen and then dressed up as a little spider and was mesmerized by all the costumes. She fell asleep just before the end. She was exhausted. Caden got in his costume early because he saw other kids in theirs. He ate and ran and played and cheesed up for tons of pictures for daddy. Russell reluctantly put on his costume, but Caden expected them to be dressed the same. Unfortunately Russell has gotten so tall he just barely squeezed into it. His job was to had out candy. Zeke dressed up and enjoyed the freedom of being in the relative safety of the church parking lot. He and Sharon's oldest boy ran the lot and collected all their candy together. Sharon and I walked around with athe other 4. In all we had : Superman, 2 skeletons, a spider, an elephant, a hockey player and a scream. They had a really good time. After it was all over they all passed out at home and slept late this morning.
