Old Friends and Great Conversation

I had a great day of catching up with old friends this week, and especially today on the phone. It is so good to hear from everyone and know that they are doing well. Talking to some people made me a little nostalgic, but then talking to others made me eager to move forward to new adventures. It was nice to share new happenings reminisce and forget about all of the stresses in my life right now. What I have been reminded of in the past 2 weeks: Although a times I miss it horribly, I am glad that I am no longer in the AF. I am glad I no longer have to play the politics of it all. I still really want to get my private pilot licence. I love teaching my children, but I am excited to see Russell achieve what he wants to by going to school next year (at Fork Union Military Academy) if we can find a way to make it happen. I am so excited to get more involved in adventure racing especially in racing with some of my girl friends (Joey-my best friend from Nav school, and Tierney my friend and midwife with Olivia).

I can't wait for the holidays and at the same time I can't wait for the holidays to be over.

Just getting caught up on your blog - it was good to hear from you. Know what is weird? I have been working on getting my PP license. I was so close in college but never finished and finally finished my masters degree. Here is to new adventures!!
