Today after all the school work was done we went to get our Library Cards. Rusty and Zeke and I each got our own card and could check out 2 books a piece the first time. Next time we can take as may as 30 items per card. Yikes. I don't think we would use 90 items in 3 weeks, but at least we know we can get what we want. I used my 2 to check out books for Caden. He, got a train book and a dinosaur book. It should be interesting trying to teach him that everything he borrows at the library is not his. He is already carrying his new books around saying mine to everyone who looks at him.
Not only did we finally get our library cards today, but we also went to the music shop. I signed the boys up for their music lessons to start next month. Russell back on the guitar and Zeke on the drums. Zeke, of course, is learning guitar from Russell and is really enjoying it. The bad thing is that we pay the same here for music lessons each month, but the lesson is only 30 minutes (per week ) not an hour. At least we get a discount for having 2 kids taking lessons. I wonder how much of a discount we get if Zeke starts taking piano lessons next year. Hmmm
No puppies yet. Based on Sandi's behavior I think it will be sooner than later. Probably sometime this weekend. The boys are anxious to see what the puppies look like. I will, of course, post pictures of our new little arrivals as soon as they get here.
I will (I know I already promised this once) post pictures of the boys new room soon. I have not finished it, and taken pictures because we have been having technical difficulties around here this week. Last Thursday our desk top computer got sick. After spending 3 days trouble shooting and running spyware programs and anti-virus programs and doing everything else I could I finally identified the problem. Unfortunately it is a really bad annoying virus that cannot be removed without professional help. We are not going to pay hourly for professional help so I am in the process of backing up all our personal data onto my laptop. This takes A LONG TIME. Whenever Chris gets home he well wipe the computer and we will have to start putting all our programs etc. . . back on it. Thankfully we own a laptop and have wireless internet or we would be in real trouble around here.
In homeschooling news: The health book we are using for Zeke is the same book we used for Russell in second grade. We thought that none of it had been written in but have found there are a few pages filled out here and there. One of the pages we found filled out turned out to be very interesting. It was a growth chart that showed height, weight, and shoe size. Russell was 6 years and 9 months when he filled it out, and Zeke is 7 years and 3 months. I didn't realize the differences in their size was so big. Russell was 47.5 inches tall, 65 pounds, and wore a size 2 shoe. Zeke is 51 inches tall, 60 pounds, and wears a size 4 shoe. At this rate it won't be long before Zeke passes Russell.
I included a picture of our pregnant momma dog today. Don't know if it is a good enough picture for you to get an idea of how big her belly is but it is a big belly.

LOL, a belly shot in the thrid trimester--how cruel! : ) Sorry to hear about your computer. What a pain! At least you could figure out what the problem is--I'd be stuck trying to do that. How did you get the problem? Whatever it is, obviously we need to avoid it!
