No, we have not had the baby yet. We had a 3/4D Ultrasound last Saturday. We got some very neat pictures of our little baby girl. Yes, we have without a doubt confirmed that the baby is a girl. We were able to see her frown, smile, yawn, etc. . . and catch it all on DVD. We also found that at this point she has no noticeable hair. Of course, Caden has more hair than he knows what to do with and it looks like we may have a bald little girl. LOL. We can tell by the pictures that she seems to have a little of her daddy's cheeks - just like Caden. We also think she looks a little like Zeke in the structure of her face. I can't wait until she is here. It is so close. She is a very active little girl. Probably the most active (pre-birth) since Russell.
Of course immediately after we left the Doctor's office we went to the Babies R Us down the road. We bought our first little girl outfit, and the new cradle (our last one didn't survive Caden). It was very different shopping in all that pink. We are not the biggest fans of pink. We like feminine but not PINK. Accents of pink are ok, but holy cow. It is almost as difficult to look at all the pink in the girls section as it is to sort through all the blue and red in the boys section. You would think there were only 3 colors in the entire world.
So, we went through the first trimester with Daddy in Iraq. Now, as we begin the third trimester, Daddy is leaving for Iraq. Hopefully the time will pass quickly, but I doubt it. Daddy being gone and being in the last trimester of pregnancy are both time periods that seem to DRAG.
In other news, the boys are sleeping in their loft bed for the first time tonight. By the end of this week I plan on posting pictures of their new room. For those of you who saw the room before I think you will be surprised by the transformation. For those of you who have never seen the room I think you will be amazed by the bed that Chris and I built. I, in fact, am totally amazed that we were actually able to pull it off. It is a tremendous sense of accomplishment to stand back and look at it.

Wow, great pictures! I also see a little bit of Zeke in there! I know what you mean about not being able to wait until she is actually here, especially after you see her in a 3-D ultrasound. That just makes them so real and so near. LOL about the pink. I totally agree! I am more a fan of purple, although at this point most of our baby clothes have been given us, so I can't complain. Really though, there haven't been too many outfits that were total pink. What a relief! I don't think I own anything pink for myself, LOL! The boys always ask how I can be a girl and not love pink! : )
I can't wait to see a picture of the loft bed. It sounds incredible, and I know how talented you and Chris are!
