Although it doesn't look like much, Chris managed to kill "the mouse" last night with a flip flop nearly identical to this one. Right after we laid down to go to sleep we heard it squeaking in the room. It was not the cute little quiet squeak that some might think a mouse would make. It was a loud irritating squeak. I couldn't take it anymore, so I woke Chris up and made him go hunting. After looking around a bit he gave up. Since we knew he was in there and behind some boxes in the corner he placed a mouse trap on either side of the boxes. Then, we waited --listening. We heard him moving around A LOT. Then, we heard the trap moving. We thought for sure it would get him. Unfortunately he was a fairly smart mouse and had just scooted the trap out of his way not even trying for the food. While Chris was positioning the traps again, we spotted him. So Chris grabbed the flip-flop, and when the mouse finally decided to make a run for -- Chris beat him to death. Not one hit but 5 times he beat the little mouse. I say "the little mouse" because when he killed it I thought it looked awfully small for what I had seen before. Of course after we went back to bed we heard noise again. So, yes, we definitely have another one in the house. I just pray that when when catch/kill that one -- it will be the last.
We may live a life that is crazy and hectic in some people's opinions, but at least we are living life.

Mouse Killer
