We spent all morning working a few final details on the house and trying to get it cleaned up to show at Noon. I admit I was a little short with the boys but all in all they did very well. They cleaned their rooms really well and did a wonderful job watching after Caden. Of course there was the accidental sprinkler mauling during a game of baseball in the front yard. What's another trip to Lowes for more sprinkler system parts -- after all we practically keep Lowes in business single handed these days.
After getting the house ready as it was going to be we jumped in the truck. Ok I had to push Kadiy into the truck and then it was off to lunch and Lowes while they looked at the house.
I was so glad we had friends coming over this afternoon because it gave the boys a nice bonus for being so good this morning with all the work. Russell even push mowed a small section of the law that I can't take the tractor into, and did a really good job.
We swam for 2 hours and then Mari and Ema ( 1 month younger than Caden ) and Caden and I went inside to play. Auri, Rusty and Zeke went fishing. They were actually very successful fishers today. I was quite shocked when they brought their catch up to show me. They fished for 2 hours and then we ordered Cracker Barrel take-out. Mari and I both love Craker Barrel but didnt want to drag two tired cranky toddlers and 3 other kids out to the store so we phoned in the order and I drove down there and picked it up and we ate at home. It was really pretty nice. Then while everyones dinner settled Rusty played Bible Trivia game on Play Station II and Zeke and Auri watch Back to the Future. It was a great day.
The boys are all ready to start packing tomorrow. I figure if we really work hard we should be able to get most of the packing done tomorrow after church.
