Field Day

We had so much fun today at Zeke's school Field Day. I wish I had not forgotten the camera on the way out of the door in such a hurry this morning. It was a beautiful day and we hula hooped and jumped rope and had a dunking booth and football throw and three legged race. . . Caden was up at 6am and didn't go down for a nap until we left the school at 1430. Whew. He was asleep as soon as we left the parking lot. He was so good all day. Russell got a chance to see a lot of his friends and play with them. His two best friends are coming over Friday for that last chance to hang out before we move. Zeke has a friend coming over on Saturday and her mom and I used to fly together. We are going to swim and cook out.

Only 2 more days of getting up early for school. I can't wait to get to sleep in and not have to catch a bus at 0630 in the morning anymore. Everyone is excited about homeshchooling. I found out that apparently much of WV educators are hostile towards homeschoolers so it came as almost a shock to me that the local rec center has art, and phys ed for homeschoolers in the area. They also have a Christian homeschoolers organization that does field trips etc. . . throughout the year, in our area. The boys are really excited. It is so nice to be moving back north. Back to where recreation centers actually still offer a whole host of programs for kids to be involved in with other kids from their neighborhoods. I think I am as excited as the boys.

Packing is coming along. In all seriousness I really need to be done with the majority of it this weekend. So, I have really started in earnest the past couple days. I need to have everything ready to be loaded into the truck by next Saturday morning. I am excited to see the place boxed up and ready to go. We hope to have all of our stuff in WV by end of June. We will see if we can manage to get all of our vehicles up there by then. That is really the limiting factor. All of our other possessions should fit in the truck and will be waiting in the house for us when we get there.

Unfortunately we have heard nothing from the realtor about the showing last Friday. Oh well. We continue to pray that it will sell but are looking at all of our alternatives if it doesn't. Refinancing and renting may be our only alternative. At least we will have that vacation home in Florida when we retire -- HAHA.

Something very funny happened today. I found out while I was at Zeke's Field Day that one of my neighbors has been telling everyone that Chris is in the CIA. Hahaha very funny. For anyone out there that is reading this and finds the true story of our lives to be a bit unbelievable -- Believe it. Chris is not in the CIA -- we just have VERY different lives from the general populace I suppose.

At the top is a picture of Chris and one of his best friends. No they are not in the CIA
