I am posting pictures of my "new kitchen" as promised. LOL. What it came down to was practicality and storage space. Obviously the people who lived here before us had a small family and/or never ate or cooked at home. So, the kitchen cabinets were pretty but also a waste of space. Nothing a screw driver, hammer, and a pair of pruning trimmers couldn't fix. I may not have cabinet doors but now I have tons more shelf space. I can't wait to go to Sams again and stock up. Yeah!!

Ah, yes, a very good idea to take out those silly divider things. Your cabinets were definitely designed for looks, not practicality! I'm glad you could make them more workable!
P.S. I also loved the post above, the Iwo Jima one. Very powerful stuff.
