Normal . . . Routine?

Sometimes I look at our life and wonder exactly what these words mean. In the grand scheme of things, I guess we are "back to normal" around here. We have been busy working on the house for the past week. We got a lot accopmplished. It feels good to start seeing the house becoming our home. Since we do not PLAN to leave this house until the kids are all grown and gone, we are busy trying to make each room what we want. What we did this week: Chris built shelves in the boys room so they could move their clothing into their room. It looks really cool. I still need to stain the shelves, but the big boy room is now fully functional. This also allowed us to get their stuff out of the guest room. We bought a box spring for the guest bed, and cleaned up that room. Now we have a fully functioning guest bed room. YEAH!! In addtion to all of this, Chris finished Olivia's wood floor (except for one piece of molding) and we bought her crib. So, her room should be finished in the next week. Yeah again. Meanwhile, we got back into our school work went to football practise, ice skating lessons, homeschool P.E. class, our last science class, music lessons, football games, and had company over Saturday night. WHEW. Oh yeah, then Chris missed his flight to Alaska on Sunday, so he got to stay home another day -- we weren't disappointed. LOL.

The kids are doing great.
