Tuesday Morning--Bad News

Tuesday was a very busy day. We had to pick up the dogs and go get grocery shopping done. Then we had to come home and start returning everything to normal. While we were taking a break from working the boys went out to ride bikes, the little ones were sleeping, and I went to take a bath. I know -- too good to be true. So about 30 seconds after I got into the bath to soak and relax Russell came upstairs crying. It seems that somehow, while we were gone, someone was able to get into the garage and stole Russell's bike. First, I don't know how they did this since I locked everything and double checked it all on my way out. Second, with all the valuable stuff in that garage why would they steal a boys bike? The only thing I can figure is that it was a child that stole it. Unfortunately, we live on a closed circular private drive, and the only people who ever come back here live back here (23 families). It really makes it seem as if the only possibility is that it was stolen by one of the kids in our neighborhood. Besides, who else would even know it was in the garage. There really isn't much we can do about it now, but buy a new bike. This really stinks. -- More bad news: Sandi lost her invisible fence dog collar. That makes 3 that have disappeared. I wish I could figure out how these dogs are getting out of their collars. Each lost collar costs me $100.
