Adjusting to the RV

This was a very busy day. I finished loading the RV after signing a contract with the realtor. So, our house is now officially for sale. I hope everyone will pray for us to sell quickly, and of course if you know anyone in the area or moving to the area in need of a house with room to play send them our way. Chris got home about noon and we finished hooking the RV and getting it ready to go. He was all set to get on the road by 1 -- which of course was an hour after we had planned. Then, he ran over the fence with the RV while pulling it out. The last guy who took the RV for repairs hit the same fence, and the RV place had to fix it. Apparently it is not possible to drive the RV out that gate. So, we spent about 30 minutes fixing the gate so we can keep the dogs in and then Chris and Rusty were off to the races. Of course the day doesn't end there. When Chris went to open up the slide outs on the RV he didn't noticed that Rusty's guitar had "shifted during the drive" and crunched the guitar between the slide out the the side wall of the RV. To further add to the excitement of the day, when they arrived at the camp grounds they found that you need to supply your own electric for the time you are there. At 1000 pm tonight we became the proud new owners of a 5000 watt 10 hp generator. YEAH!!! Mean while, back at home Caden, Zeke and I had a good time at dinner and then Awanas. It was good to have a chance to talk to my friend Mari who I don't get to see much these days, and have a little time to spend time and talk with Zeke alone. I am so tired. I can't wait to get up to the races and sleep a little and not think about painting or yard work or caulking or anything else for a few days.

Wow, I got busy and didn't check your blog for a few days, and I miss all sorts of stuff! I am so glad you finally got to see someone who would take you seriously about Caden's tongue. May 1 is going to be a busy day! I'll pray for him while being induced--it will distract me, LOL.

So sorry to hear about Pravda. She is such a beautiful dog. I love huskies. Hard decisions to make there. : (

I hope you guys all have a fun, relaxing weekend. You deserve it! I'll certainly be praying for a quick house sale.
