I'm not sure what I have been sick with for the past week. The plague, the crud, flu, cold, whatever. It was awful, and do you have any idea how hard it is to rest your voice - after you loose it. It is very difficult when you are the only adult in a house of 4 children, and you are homeschooling. Oh well, we I seem to have gotten over the worst of it. I just wish I could stop coughing so much so I could get a good night sleep. O yeah, and having my voice back would be nice too. Although I am sure the boys have enjoyed my vocal struggles. It is easier to say they didn't hear me. LOL.
We have finally done all we can do to be prepared for family visiting next week. I am sure that we will all have fun. We plan to see Gettysburg, and visit D.C. a couple different times. I am praying that the weather holds up so the boys and their uncle Stephen can take advantage of the tree house, and have a camp out. Additionally, it will be Jesse's birthday next week so we are planning a HUGE birthday celebration for him. Ok, HUGE is probably a slight overstatment, but we do plan on having a good day celebrating.
This week has been a busy week of tidying up loose ends as far as school is concerned. Yes, we are taking another week off for company. Of course, Russell still has his science project and English paper he will work on a little next week. Ezekiel is really winding down the year already. The only thing he is behind on as far as finishing for the year is Math. We take a little extra time with math because he and math have a love hate relationship. LOL. He is doing really well in it, it just takes him a bit to catch on to some new concepts.
