Home At Last and Back to the Grind

We made it back from or Florida vacation with all the dogs and kids in one piece. It was kinda sad, at first, coming home from 70 degree wether to 30 degree wether. The dogs were happy to be home and I think the kids were excited to be back too. It was good to see old friends but also good to be home and back to the familiar routine and new friends. It took me about a week to really get things put away, cleaned up, and back into the swing of things.

Now that we are back, Upwards Basketball has started. I didn't really want to do basketball this year but the kids are enjoying it and it really doesn't take that much time. They practice once a week on Monday nights and play games on Saturday. The only real issue is it consumes every Saturday because the time of their games is so spread out. Oh well, it is only a few weeks.

Zeke started a new Tae Kwon Do program last week. He has been out of Karate since leaving Florida and is so excited to be back into it. We found an awesome program and an excellent instructor. His instructor is a Korean Christian who used to teach martial arts to the Korean Army. He is a really great guy and demands a lot of his students.
