Where to begin? The big boys went to day camp at Antietam Recreation last week. I dropped them off each morning around 0830 and picked them up at 1700. They had a blast and Caden and Olivia got some relatively uninterrupted Mommy time. I think Caden really appreciated the time with Mommy. During our time together, we played in the pool and went to the park. We also went shopping, and painted, and just hung out. On Wednesday Caden and Olivia had Dr's Appointments with Dr. Duck. Caden checked in at 35 pounds and 36 inches tall. The Dr. was amazed that he dresses himself entirely. The only thing he can't do, at this point, is tie his own shoes, and he is trying really hard to do that. He was also impressed that Caden is potty trained. Yes, you heard me right, Caden is potty trained. He has not had a daytime accident in 3 weeks, and has only been wet 3 mornings in the past 3 weeks. It has been so awesome. I am hoping not to need to buy anymore pull ups for him. We only use them at night right now and I think that will end soon. YEAH!!! Olivia was 10 pounds 12 ounces, and 22.5 inches long. According to the doctor that makes her 90th percentile for height and 50th percentile for weight. He also said that her motor skills were more in line with a 4th month old not a 2 month old. She got her first vaccinations on Wednesday as well. Let me tell you, SHE DID NOT LIKE THEM. None of the boys ever even acted like they noticed they were getting shots, but Olivia let the whole world know about it and didn't stop "talking" about it for quite some time.
Also on Wednesday I dropped off Sandi to be spayed. We will be having no more puppies in this house. I am so thankful not to have to worry about that anymore. The only one left to take care of is Balou. Hopefully if we get him fixed he will stop marking his territory and be able to have more freedom throughout the house.
At the end of the week I got to go to the spa and have a manicure/pedicure and massage. It was awesome. Chris kept the two little ones while the older ones were in their last day of camp and I spent 4 hours of me time. It was very pleasant. After the spa day we went to the camp to pick up the big boys and Caden rode the cable ride again. This time daddy got to see him. It was a lot of fun.
I started running more this week and am really feeling good. Russell has been running a little with me as he is trying to get in shape for the beginning of football season. Since Daddy has been home we have been taking some walks in the evenings and Caden has been working on riding his bike. I am happy to say he has figured out how to ride his bike and is riding a two wheeler with training wheels now. YEAH!!
