Kids

As ones kids begin to grow up, it is sometime easy to forget that they are still kids. After all they spend the whole day trying to convince you they know everything or at least more than you do. Ha. Then, something happens that reminds you that yes, even your (pre)teenager is still -- a kid. Today as we were driving home past a lot of cattle farms we were all looking at the different cows, and the baby cows making cow noises with Caden. There was a brief pause in all of the commotion and then Russell says questioningly: "Mom, So the Milk that we drink is just ---- breast milk from a cow.?" To which I answer -- of course -- YES. All he had to say was -- OH. I almost laughed. I guess the first time he really realized what was going on with babies being fed was with the puppies, so now he is really aware of what I am doing when I am Feeding Olivia. Which in turn logically leads him to "realize" where "store" milk comes from .LOL
