A Good Day . . . A Long Day

Today Olivia had her 2 week check up with the midwife. She is up to a HUGE 8 pounds, 4 ounces. After our appointment we went over to my friend Claire's house to play and have dinner. The day was beautiful and the boys were able to play outside a lot. Claire and I had a good time talking and hanging out with the girls inside. I think this will be even more fun as the girls grow and can actually begin to play together.

Claire fixed an awesome dinner and the boys went to town on it. Unfortunately Bob was unable to join us for dinner since he spent it in the hospital with one of their sons (Jonathan). Jonathan fell from th hood of a self powered play car that Caden was driving. When he fell he broke both the lower arm bones. We will be praying that Jonathan's arm heals quickly.

After tearing the boys apart we finally departed and made it home around 2100. Apparently while we were gone our trespasser came back for the first time in quite a while. He has broken our underground dog fence again. That really makes it hard to let the dogs out. We have no way to contain them. So, tomorrow I have to go out and walk the line to find the break and fix it. In addition to the dog fence being broken, 2 days ago the lawn mower decided to die, and the grass is REALLY high.

So, it was an awesome yet tiring day

What trespasser is this?! A mole or something? How frustrating. I didn't realize you had had problems with your fence.

Jonathan and Bob are still at Bethesda--the appointment with the ortho guy is at 1:00, so maybe we'll know more after that. He's up on tylenol with codeine, so he's floating through the day and slept fine last night, LOL.
