What's in a Name

For those of you who are wondering, I thought I would post a little blurb about how Olivia got her name. The first name - Olivia - is just a name we both really liked. We tried a couple of other names, but after a couple weeks of saying them they didn't sound as nice so we decided not to use them. For the middle name we chose to name her after her grandfathers (and father). Leslie is for my dad and Rae (although spelled differently) is for Chris and his Dad who both have the middle name Ray. So now you know. She has her first well baby appointment tomorrow, and we get to meet our new pediatrician. It will be our first doctor visit since coming to WV. I hope all goes well, and that I chose a good doctor to go with. On another note, Mari, one of my closest friends, had her third daughter about a week before I had Olivia. Maddie was born 31 March. My brothers wife also had a baby girl. Jane was born 6 April. It was a week of girls. I put pictures of each of the girls -- in birth order (Maddie/Jane/Olivia)-- on this blog
