WOW -- I can't believe it has been 8 months

Ok, obviously I have let things slip a bit. Things have been crazy busy and I have really been spending a whole lot less time around a computer. Fortunately I have an Iphone and have been able to keep facebook up to date with that. This is why some have actually been able to keep up to date with all that is going on. Where on earth to begin. I feel like I am writing one of those Christmas letters that people send out but that I don't because I hate writing them. LOL.

The Broad Sroke: When last I wrote, we were halfway through a deployment and eagerly awaiting Chris' return home. This Blog finds us halfway through yet another deployment and anxiously waiting for Chris' return. Deja vu. Chris came home from Deployment in August of 2010 and in September we took our long awaited trip to North Carolina to meet up with Chris' best friend (Scott). We had such an awesome time riding our motorcycles, hanging out at the cabin in the woods, fly fishing, catching up etc. . . It was a great time of relaxation. Thanks to all those who helped make it happen by taking turns keeping up with our children (Heidi, Angie, Kristin). After the trip we settled into the rest of the pre-holiday school schedule and the end of football season. Chris, Zeke, and I ran the Freedom 10K in October, then the week before Thanksgiving we packed up the kids, dogs, and a trailer full of stuff and went to our house in Florida where we stayed until after the New Year. Florida was awesome. We enjoyed such wonderful warm weather (right up to the minute we got out of the car back in WV (10 Jan) and it was 20 degrees). While we were in Florida we were able to spend a good deal of time with old friends from my AF days, ran the Jingle Bell Run for Arthritis, and began re-furnishing the house there. We were also able to Spend Thanksgiving AND Christmas with Chris' family which is something we have been unable to do for a couple of years. Shortly after the New Year, after nearly 4 weeks off work at home, Chris' deployed again. The family packed up and drove back to WV. We will be in WV until Chris' gets home in Apr and then we are headed back to FL for a month of relaxation in the sun.

Now that I have hit the highlights I will try filling in all the gaps in separate posts. Stay Tuned . . .
