Yesterday while we were at Arundle Mills for the day, we decided to let Olivia and Caden go see Santa Claus. After they sat on his lap and took their picture he talked to them. Only he didn't talk to them about what they wanted for Christmas, he told them a little story. He told them that the best gift they could ever get from mommy and daddy was the gift of the love they have in their hearts. Then, he told them that the reason we have Christmas is because a long long time ago a little baby was born in a barn. He said that is why as Santa he gets to bring them presents on Christmas day to help celebrate Jesus birthday. I was amazed that he shared this with the kids. It was nice to see someone not afraid to share a little bit about their faith, and actually say Merry Christmas. I watched as he told the same story to the next two kids and their parents. Yes, he was sure to call the parents over while he told the story. I was impressed. So here is the picture of the two of them with Santa Claus.
